Many people watch a delivered video once and reply "fine" or "change a bit", then discover a subtitle typo or a wrong phone number after it's online. Go through this list once, send your feedback in one message, and the revision round goes much faster.
The checklist
- Picture: any black frames, jumps or obvious quality drops; are people or products cropped?
- Subtitles: typos, technical terms, names and titles, numbers and units; do they line up with the speech; are they readable on a phone?
- Sound: voice clear, music not covering the voice, no sudden volume changes at the start or end. Listen once on headphones and once on speakers.
- Intro and outro: correct logo, correct call to action and contact details at the end.
- Facts: dates, prices, event names, web addresses and LINE IDs checked one by one.
- Format and aspect ratio: horizontal or vertical as the platform needs; resolution as agreed. See which delivery format to choose.
- Different devices: play it once on a phone and once on a computer; for event playback, test at the venue in advance.
- Version and file name: make sure you have the final version and the file name carries a version or date, so you can find it later.
How to give feedback efficiently
- Use "timestamp + change", for example "00:35 subtitle 'ad' should be 'commercial'".
- Collect everything and send it once, rather than in several small messages.
- Separate "must change" from "nice to have".
After delivery you get one round of minor revisions within the agreed scope. For the full process see how to order.
Frequently asked questions
Subtitles look small on my phone. Is that normal?
Subtitles on a horizontal video are naturally small on a phone. If most viewing will be on phones, make a vertical or square version from the start, with larger subtitles.
Do I need to back up the final files myself?
Yes. We don't keep files long-term after a project, so save the final version to your own drive and cloud storage.
