How to Upload Footage to Google Drive from a Computer

To keep the edit moving smoothly, please prepare your footage like this.
It greatly reduces back-and-forth and revision time.

Tutorial: how to upload footage to Google Drive (in Chinese)

Summary

  1. Create a folder in Google Drive
  2. Upload all videos, photos and logos into it
  3. Rename each file with a number in the order you want (1, 2, 3, 4, 5…)
  4. Set the folder to "Anyone with the link"
  5. Send us the folder link

Step 1: Create a folder and upload your files
1. Go to Google Drive and sign in.
2. Click "+ New" at the top left → "Folder" (name it something like Footage_YourName).
3. Open the folder and upload all your videos, photos and logos into it.

Step 2: Put the files in order
If you want the video to follow a particular sequence, rename the files:
1.jpg, 2.mov, 3.jpg, 4.mov… (only change the numbers).
We edit in this order. Please keep the file extensions (.jpg, .mp4 and so on).

Step 3: Add a short description (optional)
A Word or Google Doc with notes helps us match the style you want, for example:

  • 1.jpg → add the text "Our brand philosophy"
  • 2.mov → use 00:15–00:40 with the subtitle "Making smiles more confident"

Step 4: Share the folder
1. Right-click the folder → "Share".
2. Under "General access", choose "Anyone with the link".
3. Click "Copy link" and send it to us.
