How a Corporate Video Is Produced: Every Step from Brief to Delivery

A corporate video is usually the most formal video a company puts out, and many clients doing it for the first time don't know where to begin. This page breaks the whole process into six stages and explains what to prepare at each one and what we'll confirm with you.

Stage 1: Clarify the brief

Start by answering a few questions. Who is the video for (clients, job candidates, partners)? Where will it be shown (website, trade show, presentations, social media)? What should viewers do after watching? Roughly how long should it be? The answers set the content and the style. Fill in the request form or message us, and we'll sort out the brief together at this stage.

Stage 2: Script and storyboard

From the brief we write the script: what each section says, what's on screen, and the subtitle or voice-over text. Production starts only after the script is confirmed, which avoids redoing work later because the direction changed. Not sure how to write one? See how to prepare a script.

Stage 3: Where the footage comes from

A corporate video draws on three sources, which can be mixed:

  • Existing material: photos, videos, product images, logo and brand elements the company already has.
  • Filming: shot by the company itself or by a separately arranged crew; we handle post-production.
  • AI video production: with no footage, visuals are generated from the script, which suits explainer and concept content. See AI video production.

Organize the material and share it through Google Drive. See how to send footage.

Stage 4: Quote and confirmation

After reviewing the script and material, we send a formal quote and an estimated timeline. Production starts after confirmation and payment. The quote depends on length, footage condition, and subtitle and motion design needs. See how video editing is priced.

Stage 5: Editing and post-production

First the rough cut (structure and pacing), then the fine cut (subtitles, motion text, color grading, music and mix). We ask you to confirm the direction at the rough-cut stage before working on the details, which keeps revisions down.

Stage 6: Review, minor revisions and delivery

After delivery, review the video and send any adjustments in one message. Revisions stay within the confirmed script. Final files are exported for the intended use. See which delivery format to choose.

What you can prepare in advance

  • A paragraph describing the company and its core services or products
  • Logo files, brand colors and fonts (if any)
  • Photos and video you're allowed to use
  • Two or three reference videos that feel right
  • The contact details and call to action for the end (website, LINE, etc.)

Frequently asked questions

How long should a corporate video be?

Usually one to three minutes, depending on the use. A trade-show loop can be shorter; a website introduction can be fuller. Length affects production time and cost, so decide it at the brief stage.

Do you offer filming?

We focus on editing and post-production, and offer AI video production. If filming is needed, the company can shoot it or arrange a crew, and we'll explain what to watch for so post-production goes smoothly.

Can I see corporate videos you've made?

See commercials and video editing examples, or tell us your industry and we'll send closer references.
